Captcha was a temporary installation created for Platform's Vitrine exhibition window at Flinders Street Station in Melbourne.

The installation drew its title and main point of inspiration from a collection of captcha codes, gathered from online sources and reformed as absurdist poetry. The installation juxtaposed these poems, draped as scrolls from ceiling height, alongside a collection of objects including a vintage desk, birdcages filled with suspended neckties, vintage ceramic birds altered through the attachment of computer components, mechanised type, cracked eggs in suitcases, piles of fake paper money and a pot of gold paint.
